| The 2007 Kelowna Snowfest Board of Directors have voted to end this wonderful winter festival after 34 years.
It is unfortunate that small festivals today have so much trouble existing. Volunteers to organize throughout the entire year are hard to find in this high costing economy. Finding sponsors is a challenge and the costs of organizing have gone up drastically.
In the "good old days" there were fewer things to do in our community but as we have grown there became many events and activities and lots of choices, leaving fewer participants to enjoy many functions.
